May is International Masturbation Month. The first IMM was created in 1995, after feminist and queer-positive sex shop Good Vibrations, decided to do something in honour of Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders who was fired by President Bill Clinton after she made comments in support of talking about masturbation. 

Masturbation is something that many people do, and is an important and healthy part of many people’s lives. However, there is still a lot of misinformation about masturbation. Want to learn more? We’ve made a short zine all about masturbation.
