Better Together Family Resource Centre. Support and services for all families across Lunenburg County and Queens County. Many programs are free and offer free childcare. There are play groups, pre and postnatal programs, as well as parenting support. They have centre locations in Bridgewater and Liverpool. 902.543.3119.

Family Service of Western Nova Scotia. Support for youth and families. Coordinates services with Department of Community Services, Addiction & Mental Health Services, Public Health Community Outreach, Better Together Family Resource Association, and more. Bridgewater Family Support Centre. Drop in centre offers support groups and programming including parenting groups, parenting through separation and divorce, and clothing exchanges. Free to attend, with free childcare often provided. 902.543.1301.

New Ross Family Resource Centre. Promotes health and well-being of families in the New Ross Area. Offers health and recreational programming, as well as access to health services like blood collection and a nurse practitioner for those without a family doctor. 902.689.2414.

Welcome to Parenting. This site replaces the pre-natal visits offered by Public Health. Expectant parents have to register on the welcome page to use the site. Note that some prenatal care is offered through the South Shore Family Resource Association now.
